This website is operated by Yara Gamal (“Coaching with Yara”). This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use this site, why it is collected, and the choices you have.

What we collect and why

Contact form

The contact page uses an embedded Google Form. Anything you submit (such as your name, email address, and message) is processed and stored by Google Forms and shared with us so we can respond to you. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Booking a session

Session booking is handled by Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects the details you provide (name, email, scheduling preferences) under Calendly’s Privacy Notice. We receive these details to prepare for and conduct your session.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used:

  • Google Analytics — collects usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type) using cookies. Google may process this data on servers outside the EU. See Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Umami — a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool. It does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information; data stays on our own server.

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When pages load, your browser requests font files from Google’s servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitLab Pages. Like most web hosts, GitLab may log technical request data (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. See GitLab’s Privacy Statement.

Coaching confidentiality

Everything discussed in coaching sessions is confidential. Session notes are kept private and are never shared with third parties, in line with the ICF Code of Ethics.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors. The site itself sets no other tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask for corrections or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Data retention

Contact and booking information is kept only as long as needed to provide coaching services or comply with legal obligations, then deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
